My stay at Pacific Shores Resort was a mixed bag. While the beachfront location is lovely and the staff were really nice, the room I had felt more like a basement, lacking sunlight and comfort. I was disappointed with the overall upkeep and service, especially the lack of housekeeping and some rude interactions with staff. If you decide to stay here, definitely opt for an oceanfront unit for a better experience.
Rooms

The room I stayed in was clean but felt very dark and cramped, more like a basement than an oceanfront escape. It had basic amenities like a microwave and fridge, but it got quite hot in the evening.
Service

The service was lacking; when I sought help about the hot tub area, the manager's confrontational attitude really soured my experience. It felt like they could do better in addressing guest concerns.
Location

The resort is beautifully situated right by the beach, making for peaceful morning walks and scenic views. However, be cautious about the accessibility as the area around the resort felt somewhat run down.

While there were some nice amenities like free kayak rentals, the overall facilities felt outdated and in need of attention. There were disturbances from maintenance work during my stay, which affected my comfort level.

I had a nice stay at this resort, with its beautiful surroundings and great amenities like the hot tub and pools. While my room was lovely and spacious, I did encounter some issues with cleanliness and a limited kitchenette setup. The service was hit or miss, but overall, it's a charming spot that I might return to in the future after seeing improvements.

Overall, my stay at the resort had its ups and downs. The first experience was fantastic with great hospitality and a lovely ocean path; however, my second experience was quite disappointing due to a poor room and unsatisfactory customer service. The amenities offered some activities to enjoy, but I would have appreciated a more consistent approach to cleanliness and service throughout my stay.

My stay was a mixed bag. The location was beautiful and the staff were genuinely nice, providing some lovely interactions. However, the resort itself felt neglected, and it didn't quite live up to the standards I expected based on my reservation. The lack of upkeep and the noisy environment were significant downsides.
Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was a lock-off from a larger suite and while it had a comfortable bed and clean linens, it felt tired and in need of a thorough cleaning. The small balcony was covered with worn outdoor carpet that didn't invite relaxation.
Service
5.0
While the staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful, my check-in experience was less than welcoming. It started off rudely, which set a negative tone for my stay.
Location
8.0
The resort is situated in a stunning area right by the sea and offers numerous outdoor activities, making it ideal for summer visits. However, I found the need to drive elsewhere for dining was inconvenient.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were very limited as the restaurant was closed, and the only available coffee came from a vending machine. This was quite disappointing.
Facilities
5.0
While the facilities included some promising options, there were ongoing issues with maintenance that involved construction and noisy workers, which impacted my experience. Overall, they still felt underutilized.

My stay at the resort was quite disappointing, mainly due to poor customer service and certain amenities not being available as promised. While the location was lovely and the area had some potential for fun, the entire experience left much to be desired. The issues with the parkade were particularly troubling, and I doubt I would recommend this place to anyone.
Rooms
6.0
The room was okay but lacked air conditioning, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The space itself was decent, though.
Service

The service was unhelpful and rude when I reported the stain on my car. It felt as if they didn't care about my concerns at all.
Location

The resort is set in a beautiful spot, which is a highlight. However, the overall maintenance around the area was lacking.
Dining
Facilities
